Why I love the Internet #5150

The internet is a great place to find all sorts of things and late last night I stumbled upon this video of an insane crazy lady going off on a telemarketer.

Small disclaimer: The things she says are not exactly work safe unless you work at a telemarketing office in which case you probably hear this sort of thing daily.

HAHA!! I almost wet myself laughing so hard watching this video.

I had my sound pretty loud and actually jumped in my chair when she let out her first squeal.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOW.

One of my favorite quotes from this lady:

I use to be an EMT. People died because my answering machine was full.

So what do you think Geek With Laptop readers? Does this sort of thing really happen?

Do people really go off on telemarketers like this? Comments of course always welcome.

    Funny indeed.

After watching and listening to her multiple times, I still jump a little when she squeals “yeeeeooow!”

I’m wondering if the picture is really the lady on the phone?

Oh and “the police are listening. I hear a click”.

    Priceless.

I can’t get over how many times she calls him a life destroyer, a terrorist and a rapist. Wow.

I’m on the do not call list and never receive telemarketer calls. Perhaps she should try it ;)

Hehe… “you don’t get to ask me any questions. I was just abused. I can use any swear name”.

It just keeps getting better with every listen.

I’m also on the do not call list.

    “You called my number… whoooooooahhh!!!!”

Hi Gnome. Go to the official do not call list web site and add your number:

I work at a company that does tech support, and although we are the ones getting the calls, we have many calls like that. We’re also outsourced and the company that the tech support is actually for (a big ISP in the U.S.) is awful. There are outages all the time, especially in Missouri. People will call and yell at us, demand to talk to our supervisors, and then yell at them about how the service is awful. Like we can really do anything. It gets to a point where you don’t even listen to them anymore. I play online Monopoly while at work…
