Which Social Network Has the Most Weirdos?

I suppose you have to start by defining weirdos. The best way to do this is if you all agree with my definition and then we have a common base point. My definition covers anyone who makes a comment on a blog pointing out the misuse of the apostrophe. Which if taken alone would mean that digg has the most hairy palmed weirdos. Have you ever read the comments on digg? Phew!

But no, other social networks have their nutters too. Stumbleupon has a lot of new-age-cosmic-porn-addicts, you run into them occasionally and are just thankful random telepathy is no longer available.

Reddit has the most up-their-own-arse quotient. Anyone who think politics is that important needs a mental enema.

Hmmm, have I pissed everyone off yet?

Propeller is one of the most normal, although it is infested with get-rich-quick scum, desperate to make some cash to buy their 6th Star Wars life size collection figure.

Delicious is befreft of much human interaction, so you don’t have to waste time with banal people. In fact, you hardly ever interact with people.

You could say the Internet is one big social network and we know how many oddballs that has.

So am I a weirdo? Damn right I am, but in a cool, techno-beatnik kinda way.

Havn’t checked speeling or grammer, I want to see if one of those weirdos off digg comes along to corrct stuff.

@ Nick, I think any social media site on the web has it’s fair share of weirdos, the post is tongue in cheek and not to be taken that seriously. But, what I do notice is that different social sites have slightly different sense of the wierd.

It used to be that everyone using the Internet was wierd, but the Norms have invaded.

    LOL!

This was QUITE an amuzing post!
    :o/

So many people have talked about Facebook that, unless I just wanted to WASTE my time, well, I just said PASS. Seems like it’s made for kids anyway.

I’m not sure what the purpose of belonging to 5, 6 or 10 social network sites. It reminds me of all the people I meet who put up profiles on dating sites.

Is it all a version of looking for love in online spaces?

    Cheers!
