This experiment is something that totally needs to be done in a High School science class. Walking on water.
Well not exactly water, but liquid.
From their YouTube.com video description:
They filled a pool with a mix of cornstarch and water made on a concrete mixer truck. It becomes a non-Newtonian fluid. When stress is applied to the liquid it exhibits properties of a solid.
All I need is a mixer truck and millions of pounds of corn starch. Anyone up for a science project with me?
