Here is a smart looking laptop from Unitcom, it is called the BTO Di CL6S2-VG and is the latest edition to the popular Lesance range of laptops. This is a strange combo of specs and features that do not quite qualify as an ultrabook due to its size; weight and not having fast start up features etc.
Having said that the Lesance BTO Di CL6S2-VG offers a high standard of equipment such as the Ivy Bridge version of the Intel Core i7 processor, Intel Chipset and graphics. so this laptop is suitable for many users from home, student and business, although it has to be pointed out that there is no built in web camera, which might be an issue for some users.
This is a fully packed out laptop offering the user a nice sized 15.6 inch colour screen with LCD high definition support and non-glossy finished with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolution. It will be running on Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system and powered by the latest Ivy Bridge Intel Core i7-3630QM processor offering 2.4 GHz to 3.4 GHz clock speed and 4 cores, 8 threads & a 6 MB cache.
There is support for the Intel HM76 chipset and video is controlled by the Intel HD graphics card. The internal memory comes as 4 GB of DDR3 1333 SO-DIMM, while there is a medium size 500 GB Serial-ATA hard disk drive (HDD) available for storage. Networking features comes with the 1000 Mbps Gigabit LAN Port and the Wireless LAN support IEEE 802.11 b / g / n.
Connectivity uses the two super fast USB 3.0 ports, a single standard USB 2.0 port, one D-Sub 15 pin, HDMI out and the e-SATA port display output too. As for the size of this machine it measures up at 24 mm to 39 mm (H) x 377 mm (W) × 253 mm (D) and weighs in at a fairly heavy 2.3 kilos, although that is with the Lithium-ion battery installed that Unitcom say will offer the user up to three hours and twenty minutes of power.
This version of the Lesance BTO Di CL6S2-VG comes with a starting price of around $900.
