We have not heard much from Toshiba recently, but they are certainly making a splash with the cool new Satellite P Series of laptops. There is a choice of two models, the 15.6 inch and 17.3 inch versions, both offer a high level of specs and features all housed in a smart looking aluminium finished body. So where is this laptop going to be aimed at? Well with a starting price of around $750, you might think students and business users. However, this is a versatile machine and there are plenty of choices to be made too, therefore this is laptop that can fit into many markets easily it just depends on how much the buyer is willing to spend.
Full HD is available in both models that will be running the latest Windows 8 operating system. The P series are powered by Intel’s fourth generation Haswell processors and will be running the Nvidia GeForce GT 740M 2 GB DDR3 discrete GPU, which should please gamers and video fans. There is up to 1 TB of storage, up to 32 GB of 1600MHz DDR3L memory, fast connecting USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 1.4 standard and Harman Kardon speakers with DTS Studio Sound. So as you can from the limited details that we have, the new P Series from Toshiba is looking good and it should be hitting the stores soon.
According to Carl Pinto who is the vice president of marketing, Toshiba America Information Systems, he said in the company press release;

Toshiba have priced the Satellite P Series to start from around $755, but that is for the smaller 15.5 inch model.
