Apparently these are only popular in the South (e.g. Charleston, SC) where we moved from. And it has to be Hellmanns or Best Foods mayonnaise - Miracle Whip won't cut it! - J.C. No thanks. Of course, I haven't actually tried it, so...I usually end up throwing mine altogether on an iron skillet with a little butter. Heat the skillet thoroughly, add a tablespoon of butter, and place the whole sandwich in the skillet.
