The Galleria QF675 is latest in the Note series from the Japan based manufacturer Dospara, it’s a 15.6 inch laptop with an Intel Core i7 processor, chipset and Nvidia graphics card, so this is not an entry level machine and the price tag of $1,500 shows just want level of specs have been included in with the QF675 model. Suddenly we are seeing a lot of Dospara, but it would seem that while the company are busy putting new ideas together, they are content to concentrate on the home market with only a few models becoming available abroad. However looking at this laptop it could hold its own in foreign markets, so long as the price fits.
Take a look at what the Note Galleria QF675 has to offer, such as the 15.6 inch screen with a Non-gloss wide screen LCD display offering full HD with a 1920 x 1080 of pixels resolutions and there is a handy built in three million pixel web camera. It will be running on the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system and powered by the Intel Core i7 3630QM mobile processor with a 2.40 GHz quad-core but can be up to 3.40 GHz with Turbo Boost and there is support for the Intel Hyper-Threading Technology.
There is a Mobile Intel HM77 Express Chipset and video comes from the NVIDIA GeForce GTX675M with 2GB and the Intel HD Graphics card with the ability for switching using the NVIDIA Optimus Technology. There is 8 GB of PC3-12800 DDR3 SO-DIMM with dual-channel up to a 32 GB Max and there is a 500 GB 5400 rpm (SATAII) 2.5 inches connected SATA hard disk drive (HDD) for storage purposes. For surfing the net and networking there is the 10 BASE-T, 100 BASE-TX, 1000 BASE-T Wired LAN, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS and the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n Wireless LAN, while other features include the single standard type USB 2.0 port, three fast connecting USB 3.0 ports, HDMI & D-sub15 Video output and there is a Multi-Card Reader.
As for the measurements of this laptop it is 55.6 mm (H) × 267.7 mm (D) x 395.4 mm (W) and it weighs in at a fairly heavy 3.3 kilos, but that does include the Lithium-ion battery that Dospara say will offer up to 4.9 hours of power. Dospara have put a $1,500 starting price on the Note Galleria QF675, which is on the rather expensive side.
