The N156J-710A/S performance laptop from Tsukumo
Japanese based computer maker Tsukumo may not be a big brand outside of its home territory but this is a firm that builds high quality laptops using high versions of the processors and graphics cards used. The new Tsukumo N156J-710A/S is no exception as it comes with a 15.6 inch screen, Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce GT 650M graphics cards, but there is more to little power house, as the features below will show and all starting at a very affordable $1,100 too.
With that in mind we really need to take a look at what this laptop has on offer, first of all there is the 15.6 inch screen LCD full HD anti-glare display with LED back light a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and a built in web camera. It will be running on the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system with Service Pack 1 (SP1) 64-bit full version and powered by the Intel Core i7-3610QM processor with 4 core, 6MB, L3 Cache and 2.30 GHz to 3.30 GHz. There is support for the Intel HM76 Express chipset and the graphics will be coming through the NVIDIA GeForce GT650M graphics card with NVIDIA Optimus technology.
There is up to 16 GB of PC3-10600 DDR3 SODIMM and a 500 GB hard disk drive (HDD) for Serial ATAII for storage purposes. Networking is covered by the 1000 Base-T/100 Base-TX/10 BASE-T RJ-45 port Ethernet; there is a Bluetooth V4.0 connections and the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n wireless LAN too. Other features will include the two standard USB 2.0 ports, two super fast connecting USB 3.0 ports and the mini D-sub 15-pin and HDMI out for display connections. The laptop measures up at 380 mm (W) x 262 mm (D) x 35.5 mm to 36.6 mm (H) and it weighs in at a around 2.8 kilos with the lithium-ion battery pack installed that is supposed to be good for up to four hours of use.
Tsukumo have launched the N156J-710A/S into their home market with a starting price of around $1,100.
