Here is yet another new laptop from Mouse Computer, this time it is a mobile laptop that goes under the model name of the LB-S220X, it is a small screen computer offering an 11.6 inch display, i7 processors, Intel graphics and chipset. This laptop actually could qualify as an ultra book, but Mouse Computer have decided to go down the mobile laptop route for this model. Normally we would be looking at the entry level machine as this would give us a good starting point, but here we have the top of the range model that that features a high spec.

The LB-S220X has a neat 11.6 inch screen with a wide LCD Glossy, LED back light as well as a 1366 × 768 of pixel resolutions and there is the handy built in 1.3 mega pixel web camera too. It is powered by the Intel Core i7-3632QM processor offering 2.20 GHz to 3.20 GHz clock speed and 6 MB support of Smart Cache with HT maximum at 4 cores and it will be running the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system. There is support for the Intel HM77 Express chipset and the video graphics will be coming from the Intel HD Graphics 4000 card.

The internal memory is 8 GB of PC3-12800 DDR3 SODIMM and there is a medium sized 500 GB of SerialATA 5,400 rpm hard disk drive (HDD) available for storage. The networking features include the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n (150 Mbps) wireless LAN, Module compliant with Bluetooth V4.0 + LE made by AzureWave and of course, there is the 1000 Base-T/100 Base-TX/10 BASE-T (RJ-45) Ethernet LAN available too. Other features include two standard style USB 2.0 ports, a single super fast connecting USB 3.0 port and there is the very useful D-sub and HDMI display ports for connecting to larger screens etc.

This compact laptop measures up at 288 mm (W) x 195 mm (D) x 36 MM (H) and it weighs in at a nice and handy 1.48 kilos and that is with the built in lithium-ion battery that Mouse Computer say will be good for up to 6.4 hours of power. Mouse Computer has priced this neat little laptop at $900, which is not too bad for a top of the range model.
