Hewlett Packard (HP) is a long established brand in the computer industry and when they announce something, we all listen, even though the machine that the company have been producing have not been that exciting, so to speak!
However, it seems that HP has pulled out all of the stops with this G6 series or to be more precise the G6 1000 series laptop. This is a range of thirty eight new laptops, yes 38! I had to double check myself just to make sure that the figures were right and they are!
This huge range covers just about every single different combination possible with a price tag starting at just $525 and finishing at $866 this is very interesting laptop especially as there are options as well on the G6, buying one of these is almost like having a laptop built to the consumers own specifications.
The basic G6 model comes with a 15.6 high definition LED HP Bright View Display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, it is powered by the Intel Pentium P6200 with 2.13 GHz 3 MB L3 cache, graphics are provided the Intel HD up to 1.24 GB and it will be running the FreeDOS operating system.
