I am using verizon and I am pretty impressed. I love the ability to use anywhere. My price is around $62.00 a month and even though that is a little steep for my budget. However, with the amount of time I spend on the computer, it will be the best money I spend a month.

I heard that Verizon wireless had a bunch of issues with a lagging connection. I've never gotten the speed from a wireless connection that I get from broadband.

I've yet to find any sort of wireless provider that comes remotely close to speeds I get with cable. (50mbps down / 5mbps up). Even if the wireless provider provided speeds even close to this the connection itself would prohibit the user from achieving those speeds (assuming were on G).

Wireless is a great solution however if all you have available is dialup/satellite/dsl.

I have also recently discovered a new mobile Internet service called clear that is remarkably faster than other providers, and it works in areas away from WiFi hot spots that I didn't think possible before. I think it's only available in Portland at the moment, but they're expanding across the country so I wouldn't be surprised if it's in every state pretty soon. Check it out: http://www.clear.com/?utm_source=bc
