Back to when the excellent Vaio YB range was launched by Sony they were using the 1.6 GHz AMD E-350 processor with graphics supported by a Radeon high definition 6250 graphics card. There has been a change of thought at laptop and from now on the Vaio YB range will powered by the capable 1.65 GHz AMD E-450 dual core processor and the graphics will be supported by the Radeon HD 6310 graphics card, now there is not likely to a huge improvement in performance. So upgrading a current model is probably not really worth thinking about, but for someone in the market for a good 11.6 inch laptop, then this machine might be worth a look.
