There are a few rugged laptops around at the moment, but GammaTech appear to have the edge, especially with the launch of the S15C2 rugged notebook. This tough machine meets military standards and that means it is tough. In fact, in a test it was able to withstand twenty drops from 76 cm, add to that the anti-shock mounting, spill resistant keyboard and magnesium alloy case, this means that this one tough machine and is just about ready for almost any punishment that can be thrown at it.
