Ahead of the CES 2012, Asus have released details of the replacement for the Eee PC 1215B; it is the 1225B that comes with a few upgrades on the previous model, as well as plenty of choices for the buyer to make in the processor, graphics card, memory and storage sections.
There are not many laptops around that are influenced by the design of cars and there is only one laptop that has a design based on the cool Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Roadster and yet Asus have felt the need to upgrade this style icon to make it more powerful under the hood.
The FCC has been putting the latest offering from Asus through its paces. The Eee PC 1025C and 1025CE are the first netbooks to use the latest “Cedar Trail” processors from Intel. This means high definition display, longer battery life and standby due the processors low power usage, needless to say both of these machines have been given the seal of approval from the FCC and will therefore be in the stores very soon.
