Skype 3.2 is finally out of beta testing and today they released Skype 3.2.0.145 with a ton of bug fixes and of course a handful of new features.
For those of you not familiar with Skype, here’s a little information:
Skype is a little piece of software that lets you make free calls to anyone else on Skype, anywhere in the world and even though the calls are free, they are really excellent quality.
If you and your friends, family or business contacts are using webcams, you can also make free video calls.
You can even call landlines and mobile phones at really cheap per minute rates.
A few things I’ve noticed with this latest release of Skype:
- Call forwarding improvements
- Video Snapshot
- Send Money with PayPal
Skype has come a long way the past few years and the call quality just keeps getting better.
If you’re not using Skype… what are you in the dark ages? you need to check it out and get on board.
It’s one of the best VoIP and Instant Messaging solutions out on the modern internet… you know, it’s what all the cool web 2.0 kids are talking about… hehe… much better then MySpace for sure.
