So what sort of features and benefits can the Indian market look forward to with the new range and what can they expect to pay?

The N110, the N120 and N130 all run with Intel Atom processors but the NC20 incorporates a Via Nano ULV Processor U2250.

All of the mini Notebooks in the N Series come with 1GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, a 1.3 Megapixel integrated Webcam and Bluetooth.

As for price, the N110 will cost Rs. 25,252 (approx £346), the N120 Rs. 26,327 (approx £360), and the NC20 Rs. 30,089 (approx £412). As yet, we don’t have a price for the N310 but they cost around £400 in the UK.

The R522 has a 15.6 inch screen. Key features include 2 GB RAM, a spill resistant keyboard, 4 USB 2.0 ports including a combination port for USB and eSATA and a 1.3 Megapixel webcam. There are two versions of the R522, one for Rs. 37,399 (approx £512) and one for Rs. 41,914 (approx £573).

The R470 comes with a 14 inch LED display and one of the key features here is the NVIDIA GeForce G105M Graphics card. It also has 2GB RAM, as well as three USB ports including a combination USB and eSATA connection port and a powered USB port to allow users to recharge their mobile phones and other small devices even if the notebook is powered off. This one will cost Rs. 48,364 (approx £661).

The R518 has a 15.6 inch HD LED display, comes with an Intel Pentium processor, 2GB RAM, a 1.3 Megapixel webcam and a spill resistant keyboard as well as various ports and other features. The price for this one is Rs. 33,637 (approx £460).

Got to admit they’re nice looking Notebooks but can’t help thinking they’re a bit pricey all things considered.
