Samsung releases the Series 7 Gamer 3D Yellow
The series 7 gamer laptop from Samsung has been given a bit of a makeover and the first thing that anyone will notice about the Series 7 Gamer 3D Yellow, is the bright yellow case and the fact that the user will probably be wearing a pair of those 3D specs too! There are of course, some other different features, such as the switch to the AMD Radeon HD 7870M graphics card instead of the previous Nvidia GeForce GTX 675M version, while the screen size remains at 14.3 inches, it is powered by the Intel Core i7 processor and has dual storage solution. Between the older and newer model there is not much in it, but it has to be said, that given the choice of the two, the Series 7 Gamer 3D Yellow has the edge and so it should as it the features and prices have been adjusted to their new settings.
From what we can gather, the Series 7 Gamer 3D Yellow has a 14.3 inch screen with a super bright FHD 3D LED display, a 1920 x 1080 of pixel resolutions and there is a web camera built in too. This laptop will be running on all versions of the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, powered by the third generation Intel i7-3610QM processor with 2.3 GHz 6 MB L3 cache, supporting the Intel HM65 Chipset and those graphics coming from the AMD Radeon HD 7870M graphics card supported by Direct X (DirectX) 11.1 graphics.
There is enough internal memory with 16 GB of DDR3 (1333) 240-pin DIMM available and there is a dual storage of a 128 GB solid state drive (SSD) and a massive 1 TB hard disk drive (HDD). To access the internet there is the 802.11 a, b, g, n wireless LAN, there 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet and the handy Bluetooth 4.0 feature. There are also two superfast 3.0 USB ports and two standard 2.0 USB ports available. The Series 7 measures in at 409.8 mm (W) x 284.8 mm (D) x 49.8 mm (H) and weighs a heavy 3.81 kilos.
Samsung have priced the Series 7 Gamer laptop at $2,648, but currently it is only available in Korea.
