We’ve only just got over the excitement around the release of the much hyped and long awaited luxury Dell Adamo Laptop which was launched a few short days ago and now Dell appears to be at it again.
There are rumours abound that they have in mind another surprise for us by way of the ultra portable Adamo 9 luxury Netbook which could rival the Eee PC for its slim line look.
How did we find out about it?
Well quite easy really, Dell’s own support documents mentioned it and it was right there beside the Adamo 13 and someone spotted the reference on the 17th March. These days all it takes is a quick mention on a blog and the word spreads like wildfire throughout the web.
On saying that, we still don’t know very much about the Adamo 9 at all but according to numerous reports and speculations we can tell you what might be expected.
Apparently the Adamo 9 will have a 9 inch screen and come with Windows XP operating system, internal HSPA data and even GPS lock as an optional extra. It will also be compatible with the Dell Wireless 5530 card.
Like the previous 13” Dell Adamo, the Netbook is expected to be classed in the luxury calibre. Indeed it is rumoured to be a smaller version of the Dell Adamo.
Also on the cards is a new 22 inch Studio One all in one PC. Again, references were made to it in Dell’s own support documents and again, it was listed right beside Studio 1909.
You can’t help but wonder if Dell is deliberately trying to create an air of mystery around the new Adamo 9 and Studio One. Perhaps not but it’s a pretty smart move if they are.
I mean there’s nothing like a load of rumours to spark a great deal of interest in a product to hype it up prior to launch, particularly when that product is at the top of its class as the Adamo 9 is expected to be.
We have no idea yet as to when we can expect this new Netbook and the new Studio all in one PC to hit the streets or what they will cost but it doesn’t take much to work out that we can expect the Adamo 9 to be on the pricey side.
