dell Quick, List Some Very Cheap Laptops!

In this day and age, just about everybody needs a laptop. Even if you don’t specifically need it for work, even if you don’t really want to bother with high end gaming or anything like that, a laptop is simply a great convenience, a trusted sidekick to keep at your beck and call.

You can use it to check directions when you get lost on a road trip, you can order pizza from anywhere in the world, you can keep all your music and movies with you at all times, send emails and keep in touch with everyone no matter where you are. If you ever leave your house for any reason, a good laptop is simply a necessity.

But, we don’t all have two thousand bucks to spend on the newest, flashiest model every time the old one goes obsolete, now, do we?

So if you need a laptop, and you don’t want to spend a lot of cash, here are a few suggestions…

(You’ll notice that these are all from Dell because, well, they’re really the market leader for dirt cheap laptops)

Dell Inspiron 1525

The Inspiron is a pretty potent little laptop for general use, and is geared towards home, school, and business users. It even has fairly decent capability when it comes to some lower end multimedia uses. It does tend to get lower scores for gaming, however, it only takes one or two hundred bucks to upgrade it with more RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card if you want to get top performance out of the whole machine. It tends to start at around $500, though we’ve even seen it in the price range of $450, so it’s a real steal.

Dell Studio 15

The Dell Studio 15 is kind of designed as a budget priced designer laptop. It features a nice, slick design, and is quite potent when it comes to multimedia. You can easily edit video or play several games on the unit with no problem. It starts at around $650, though $700 seems to be the more common price range. You may need some small upgrades for supreme performance, but it’s a great starting point for multimedia people and gamers.

Dell Vostro 1510

The Vostro has been created with the undemanding user in mind. If you want to do some gaming or photoshopping or video editing, go with the Studio 15. The Vostro is simply designed for basic, simple use. This makes it perfect for business people and students who really need to just get back to their homework and lay off the Team Fortress 2, but the more demanding user may be a bit disappointed. This one generally starts around $500.
