So I was just watching TV and an Alltel Wireless commercial came on, then all of a sudden the “other” wireless companies broke into the broadcast for like 5 seconds and said to visit:
Which is a totally funny interactive website dedicated to the “other” wireless companies AT&T/Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon Wireless.
If you’ve ever seen an Alltel wireless commercial, you’ll get a kick out of this site.
The more I poke around, it’s actually a game… pretty cool.. and I just found that Chad from Alltel has a MySpace page

As for the “Man Cave” game, basically you collect cards with codes and other secrets to advancing through the website.
There is a ton of hidden stuff on this site. One of my favorite finds so far was a link to Dungeon Masters Eternal Quest and if you view the HTML source on the home page you’ll see some web master comments that read:
Who says Dungeon Masters don’t have levels?
Which is funny if you’ve seen any of the Alltel Wireless commercials where they kidnap Chad and put him in the “man van” with the Wizard on the side door.
Anyway, this is a pretty cool marketing idea from Alltel and I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about this site.
