New Apple iPhone Allegedly Leaked From Foxconn Factory
As we come closer to the new Apple iPhone release every passing day, the rumors about this device keep escalating. This is partly due to case manufacturers jumping the gun and rolling out cases in the market even before Apple has officially announced the product. This happens every year, with every new iPhone as well as iPad. A Chinese case manufacturer has released pictures of its new cases for the next generation iPhone. These cases are wrapped around what is being rumored as a leaked version of the new iPhone.
According to recent reports coming out of China, Apple has already instructed its manufacturers to start mass production of the new iPhone. Only a couple of days back it was confirmed that Pegatron, Apple’s secondary manufacturer in China, has also started production of this smartphone alongside Foxconn which happens to be Apple’s primary manufacturer. Credible sources have reported that Apple is past the point of multiple prototypes and it has decided on a final version which has entered mass production.
In the past case manufacturers have dropped a lot of hints about an upcoming iOS device just by releasing cases well before the actual device is unveiled. While security at Apple’s manufacturing plants is tight, it is believed that case makers get design tips from workers inside the plants. Sure it is next to impossible for design schematics, blueprints or even photos to leak before an official announcement, but workers might just have a tip or two to divulge after getting off their rigorous 12 hour shifts.
This particular case seems to abide by all of the rumors we have heard so far. It hints at an iPhone that is thinner than its predecessors, has a larger screen, a smaller 19 pin dock connector and a repositioned headset jack. Moreover it is believed that the device shown in the images by the case manufacturer is exactly what the new Apple iPhone is going to look like. Surely the details stack up well against the rumors and this could very well be a model of the final next generation iPhone production unit. The mind boggling question is though, how did this model manage to make it out of Foxconn in the first place?
For all we know, the model in these images may just be another prototype. Whatever it is, it sure is a lot similar to what we believe Apple’s next generation iPhone will look like. Lets wait and see how many of these rumors Apple confirms in October when it officially announces its next smartphone.
