MSI GT660 Laptop is a Gamer’s Delight

msi gt660 300x234 MSI GT660 Laptop is a Gamers DelightThe MSI GT660 is a powerful gaming oriented laptop featuring an Intel Core i7 740QM quad-core processor, Nvidia GeForce graphics, and a 16 inch display.  With MSI also promising exclusive TDE+ technology (turbo drive) and an enhanced audio-visual experience, this may very well be the ideal mobile gaming rig.  Let’s take a closer look.

With the release of the GT660, MSI are aiming to catch the attention of gamers from all over the world.  As well as designing a great all-round performer, MSI have put a lot of energy into making the GT660 an outstanding multi-media machine.  Along with the included TDE+ technology, the GT660 also features world class sound and special gaming-style lighting effects.

Everyone knows that gamers like a little bling on their laptops, and the MSI GT660 does not disappoint in this regard.  With a rather snazzy looking shell, a glowing MSI logo, and a LED light show that pulsates in response to the included sound system, this is certainly not a boring board room design.  The screen also looks the goods using something called colour boost technology, although it is debatable whether the 1366 x 768 resolution lives up to the rest of the specs.

Finally, laptop manufacturers seem to be placing more importance on sound, and along with the Toshiba Satellite M645 reviewed last week on GWL, this is one of the best mobile laptops in terms of audio performance.  MSI have teamed up with sound system specialists Dynaudio for this one, and the results are definitely a cut above other laptops on the market.

Along with its outstanding physical presence, the MSI GT660 also performs great and is well connected to the rest of the world.  It features two of the latest USB 3.0 ports, along with two USB 2.0 ports and pretty much every other connection type you could possibly imagine.  There are 3 DDR3 memory slots as well, giving you the option of 12GB of RAM – wow!

This laptop is not going to suit everyone, but lots of people around the world are surely going to love it.  If you don’t mind having a pimped-out, LED-enhanced, not-so-cheap laptop in your possession that definitely wont run all day from batteries – don’t forget to take a closer look at the MSI GT660.  It is available right now in some parts of the world, and ships for the very reasonable price of $1699.
