Mouse Computer shows off the NEXTGEAR-NOTE i960SA4

Here is yet another new G Tune series laptop from Mouse Computer, it is the NEXTGEAR-NOTE i960SA4 and is being aimed squarely at the gamers market. It has a nice sized 17.3 inch display, Intel Core i7 processors and Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics cards. However, there is more to this machine, much more! In fact there is too much to going on with this laptop, so we need to step back and just grab a look at the basic i960SA4 model, first up it comes with a 17.3 inch screen in LCD glossy type with corresponding LED back light display and Full HD. It comes with a 1920 × 1080 of pixel resolution and a built in 2.0 mega pixel web camera.

This laptop is running the Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system; powered by the Intel Core i7-3720QM processor with 2.60 GHz to 3.60 GHz 6 MB support Smart Cache with a maximum of 4 cores. It supports the Intel HM77 Express chipset and the graphics come from the NVIDIA GeForce GTX675M with NVIDIA Optimus technology. The networking features there is the normal 802.11 b / g / n IEEE wireless LAN, a module compliant with Bluetooth V4.0 + LE and 1000 Base-T/100 Base-TX/10 BASE-T (RJ-45) Ethernet LAN.

Connectivity comes from the single standard USB 2.0 port, three superfast connecting USB 3.0 ports with eSATA Shared with one 3.0 port. The NEXTGEAR-NOTE i960SA4 measures up at 412 mm (W) × 276 mm (D) × 45.4 mm to 41.8 mm (H) and it weighs in at 4.03 kilos with the built in lithium-ion battery that Mouse Computer say will give the user up to 3.5 hours of power, which for a gamer is probably only going to be any good should there be a short power cut and it allows the user to shut the machine down.

The NEXTGEAR-NOTE i960SA4 from Mouse Computer is priced to start at around $2,300 and that is with an offer in place that cuts around $130 from the original price!
