The Japan based Mouse Computer has launched a new high flying computer on home ground it is the MB-P530B a 15.6 inch notebook that promises to offer the consumer top of the range specifications and features. So who would be interested in such a machine?
At first, you think gamers, but that may not be case as the graphics may not be up to the high standards required. It seems that the business and home user is the target customer here. But even then, there is a lot of competition in this sector, so the specs and of course the price have to be competitive.
The MB-P530B comes with a reasonable size 15.6 inch glossy full high definition LCD display with a 1920 × 1080 of pixel resolution and there is a built in web camera in there too.
The base unit comes with a choice of processor from the Intel Core i7-2670QM processor with 2.20 GHz 4 core and the i7-2760QM processor with 2.40 GHz 4 core. While the graphics are provided through the highly capable NVIDIA GeForce GTX670M graphics card.
Mouse does not mess around when it comes to memory and storage either, with a 16 GB of DDR3 RAM available and a 500 GB hard disk drive (HDD) for storage use. Connecting to the internet is easy with the built in IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (150 Mbps) Wi-Fi and they have installed Bluetooth V3.0 + HS too for easy connection to mobile devices.
Other features include the eSATA/USB 3.0 combo port, a single standard USB 2.0 port, two fast connecting USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI output, IEEE1394 port and a handy multi card reader. All running on the Genuine Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system, with optional upgrades available.
Mouse Computer has launched this model in Japan for the time being with a price tag starting at around $1,350.
