We’re used to hearing about new Netbooks now; with just about every single computer maker on the planet producing Netbooks apart from Apple, there’s no shortage of these portable devices to choose from.
However, the ones we hear most about are those that have come from the big names in the industry such as Acer, Asus, MSI, Samsung, Hewlett Packard, Dell, and Toshiba, to name a few.
All of these companies have pretty good netbooks as far as Netbooks go as well as some excellent laptops on offer.
Other netbooks from other companies are unlikely to get much of a look in unless they come with a cools set of specs, an added novelty feature, a particularly low price or unless of course the Netbook looks so outrageous you can’t miss it.
Remember the Hello Kitty Nettop from Moneual? I know you’d rather not. Well here’s another offering for Netbook lovers from the Korean based Moneual.
Moneual have just launched the NiNEW N20U Netbook which looks nothing like Hello Kitty thank goodness, that one definitely hurt the eyes, so let’s see if this latest Netbook by Moneual is worth a look.
The NiNEW N20U Netbook has a 10 inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 576. Ok so that resolution is definitely on the low side, we could do better than that.
The NiNEW N20U Netbook weighs in at 950 grams and measures 245.5 x 165 x 197 millimetres so light and easy to carry around, like Netbooks are supposed to be.
It carries the Atom N270 processor; again pretty standard for a Netbook but there are better processors now. It has 1GB of RAM, I would prefer at least 2, and it comes with 16GB or 32GB Hard drive. Oh yes and of course the NiNEW N20U has Wi-Fi.
All in all it’s just another little Netbook struggling to get noticed and with nothing special by the way of specs to offer this Netbook might struggle to compete for a bit of attention.
It does have something going for it though as unlike Hello Kitty this one happens to look pretty stylish and comes in a black or white casing with red highlights.
At the moment the NiNEW N20U is only available in Korea and we don’t have any word on prices or if the Netbook will make it to Europe or the US.
