"Besides, if you have nothing to hide, what is the issue?"

Because somewhere at some time someone will decide they dot like whatever it is youve been doing for years with no thought of it being wrong. Then you will see the issue

There are naturally privacy issues with this. However, surely this is just the first application of how the technology can be used. Didn't we have the same reservations about GPS tracking for mobile workers and the like? This technology has now been universally accepted because it gives benefits to the user as well as the company tracking them, (courier companies = prime example)
I am sure this technology will be developed and marketed further to give mutual benefit. Besides, if you have nothing to hide, what is the issue?

I read somewhere once that an easy Faraday Cage to carry your passport in (to avoid suitcases reading the chip) is a static bag -- the silvery looking ones that hard drives come in. Would be interested to see if it works with this, too.

I guess a lot of faraday cage cases will be sold soon. Put the case on when you want to go incognito.

Couldn't you just place the phone on the desk or something and negate the accelerometer data.
