In India and other devloping countries, being ~20-40 years behind the progress in provisions for health, we are moving downhill.

The government sector is unable to deliver health uniformly to the most deprived; It is being privatized rapidly with insurance sector vying for its share, biting through the pocket of the majority shockingly; and, sadly the people in these ‘developing economies’ will realize after another 40 years to think pursuing their governments to nationalize health through another ‘Moore phenomemnon’.

I am hopeful that there will be ways to minimize this gap to benefit the billions and help improve the Health globally through this current effort of Mr. Moore.

While I look forward to the release of movie in India, having read its reviews, my admiration for the genius of Mr. Moore has grown further to suggest highest of the civilian recognitions which can be given to such a person with admirable courage, brilliant mind and above all, a golden heart.

Like you say Sean, no matter what your political beliefs are, it’s difficult to ignore the sad state of our health care system.

On average, movie tickets range between $7.00 – $13.00 USD per person for a movie ticket even if you go to an early show.

How I came up with $20.00 was tickets for two as I usually go to the movies with my lady or a friend.
