The improved Lenovo S10-2 is now more portable than ever as it is thinner and lighter than the previous version and now weighs in at just over 2 pounds and measures less than an inch thick.

The Netbook has a larger touchpad and sports a keyboard that is now almost 90 percent of full size meaning it is more comfortable to use and is now almost as comfortable as a full sized laptop.

Consumers also have the added advantage of more connection time away from an electric socket with a longer battery life, apparently up to 30 percent longer than before.

You also get the benefit of Lenovo QuickStart which means you can launch different applications before the device has even fully booted up.

Security is always an issue so with VeriFace face recognition technology now included this means that S10-2 users don’t have to try and remember long and difficult passwords as they can log on using just their face instead.

Not only that, the new model has 3G connectivity meaning connection is easier and there are three USB ports and a 4 in 1 card reader too.

Lenovo have also thrown in Dolby Headphone technology so that even audio performance is better with surround sound and 5.1 channels.

They haven’t forgotten looks either; the appearance of the Netbook has been improved as the IdeaPad S10-2 has a new and funky colourful ring pattern design.

In fact it seems that nothing has been left out, data protection has also been improved with Lenovo’s OneKey Rescue System. This enables consumers to recover their data should it become corrupted.

Lenovo’s vice President of Business Operations, Idea Product Group, Dion Weisler said:

“With the Netbook scene rapidly changing, consumers are telling us they want to merge the capabilities of their most commonly used sources of electronic entertainment, such as digital photographs, online TV, music and social networks all into one portable and affordable device.”

Weisler continues “We’ve incorporated that feedback into our new IdeaPad S10-2 Netbook, giving consumers around the world more ways to connect with options for wireless connectivity, a more portable and expressive design and entertainment-packed features”.

Yep it’s looking good and prices start from only $399.
