Well back in June 2002 at the 10 year anniversary of the monthly technology meeting (LA2600) I go to, my original digital camera was stolen from me by some unknown person. This guy also deleted a lot of pictures on one of my friends digital camera’s too that night!
To make a long story short, I reported my camera stolen and I got a phone call from a pawn shop in Riverside on Saturday morning (January 18, 2003), six months later, telling me that they had my camera. Whoo hoo! So I will be heading over to Riverside the next day they are open so I can pick it up. The guy who stole it has yet to be found but at least I’ll get my camera back.
Moral of the story… keep all your paperwork, write down the serial numbers and if someone steals your “toys”, report it… you might just get your stuff back.
