MoneyThat’s right folks, the total cost of iPhone ownership over a 24 month contract could be $2,000-$6,000.

Wired has the breakdown:

8 GB iPhone for $599, plus $36 activation fee, plus $220/month for the highest-priced, highest-usage plan.

The 4 GB iPhone with the basic plan, at $60/month, adds up to about $2,000 over two years.

WOW. That is really crazy – all for a PHONE?

No way! I will just keep the phone I have. I am usually on a computer most times, anyway, so an IPhone wouldn’t make any sense for me to own.

Phone plans are way overpriced in the USA.
Can’t you lease a car for $220 a month over there?
