iPhone 4 embraced by adult entertainment industry
What you resist persists as they say, and I wonder what Steve Jobs is thinking now that the adult entertainment industry is right behind him and his views on Flash, and what he’ll say when he finds out the iPhone 4 is fast becoming one hot gadget for porn.
First the Flash issue. We all know that Jobs doesn’t like Flash and leading figures in the porn industry are agreeing with him and have decided to dump Flash and get behind HTML5 instead, as soon as the browsers can handle it of course.
“We are waiting for browsers to catch up. As soon as they are ready, we will move everything to HTML5” Ali Joone, founder and director of adult website Digital Playground told ConceivablyTech.
Joone said he was grateful for what Flash has delivered so far but added that it was “just a matter of time” until Flash goes. “It’s the next passing of the torch” he said.
Now remember a couple of months ago Jobs said that Apple have a moral responsibility to keep porn off the iPhone?
He also said that if anyone wanted to access porn then they should go and buy an Android. A bit unfair on Google that but never mind.
The thing is Android phones; as good as they are, just cannot offer what the iPhone can when it comes to getting up close and personal.
So what has the iPhone got that Android doesn’t?
Well the iPhone 4 offers that much needed front facing camera and FaceTime. Yes, Apple’s state of the art video technology that allows iPhone 4 users to make video calls for free is a big hit with those looking for some real time intimate action.
To add to Jobs’ troubles, apparently an ad has been posted on Craigslist offering a free iPhone 4 for any woman who is willing to indulge in online video chatting (and obviously a bit more) with potential customers for a new interactive business.
“Hours are flexible, pay will increase as the business builds. Woman will receive a free iPhone 4 to use as personal time when not working. Woman will talk to potential clients and chat with them and perform various acts as desired by clients. All information will be confidential” says the ad.
So, I wonder how Jobs is going to keep porn off the iPhone now, I mean he can’t just remove FaceTime can he.
