Interesting laptop from Tsukumo
This the latest offering from the Japan based Tsukumo, it’s called the N156J-820A / S and it is noticeably powerful using the latest Intel i7 processor, Intel & Nvidia graphics and a whole host of features for the buyer to choose from in order to effectively build a laptop to meet their exact needs be it gaming, personal or business use. The stand out feature has to be the price though; it starts at just under $1,300 so that is a lot of computer for your money no matter what configuration you are choosing.
This laptops has a medium sized 15.6 inch screen with full HD LCD display glare type LED backlight, with a 1920 x 1080 of pixel resolutions and there is a built in HD quality web camera. It is powered by the high end Intel Core i7-3610QM processor with 4 cores, 6MB L3 Cache, 2.30 GHz up to 3.30 GHz maximum with turbo boost. There is support for the Intel HM76 Express chipset and graphics are provided through the NVIDIA GeForce GT650M or Intel HD 4000 graphics cards with NVIDIA Optimus technology. There is up to 16 GB of PC3-10600 DDR3 SODIMM available in 8 GB (4 GB x 2), while the storage is handled by an Intel 520 Series 120 GB solid state drive (SSD) and there is always the DVD Super Multi drive for hard copies.
Connectivity comes from two standard USB 2.0 ports, two super fast connecting USB 3.0 ports and the multi-card reader, while networking uses the RJ-45 port x1 (1000Base-T – 100Base-TX – 10BASE-T) Ethernet, Bluetooth V4.0 as well as the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n wireless connection. As for the size, this laptop measures in at 380 mm (W) x 262 mm (D) x 35.5 mm to 36.6 mm (H) and weighs in at 2.8 kilos with the lithium-ion battery in place that the manufacturer claims with be good for up to four hours of power.
The Tsukumo N156J-820A / S is currently being launched in Japan where it has a starting price of around $1.300.
