Inflatable Home Theatre – That’s Right!

sima 12 foot home theater kit 300x300 Inflatable Home Theatre Thats Right!Every now and then a product so unashamedly silly gets released you just know its really a piece of genius.  The Sima inflatable home theatre kit is just as it sounds, an inflatable, projector compatible home theatre solution for all of the the outdoor viewing needs you didn’t even realise you had.

How many times have you been stuck inside watching the big game, missing out on the sunshine and the sweet summer breeze.  Well – no more, not with this baby.  The Sima inflatable kit comes complete with self-powered speakers, which are not only moisture resistant but also produce audio at an impressive range of 50-20,000 Hz.

The screen itself has a ratio of either 16:9 or 4:3, which can be customised to your needs.  The screen surface itself is made from a bright white vinyl and is compatible with practically any front or rear screen projector currently on the market.  The speakers also have a regular line-out jack, making it easy for you to expand the included sound system and annoy your neighbours even more.

The Sima Inflatable Backyard Home Theater Kit comes in two different sizes, the XL-8 with a 96 inch screen and the XL-12 with a 144 inch screen.  The XL-8 also has a smaller set of speakers, with 8″ and 100W in comparison to its 10″, 120W big brother.  It inflates in just a few minutes, is made from durable materials, and comes with a range of accessories including a pump, volume control, audio cables, stability ties, ground stakes, ground cloth, screen repair kit, and carry bag.

The Sima Inflatable Backyard Home Theater Kit is being sold for about $1000 for the XL-8 and $1500 for the XL-12, although prices do vary among retailers.  This may seem like a lot of money – and it is – however, with little to no competition in the inflatable home theater market, it may even do quite well.  Stranger things have happened.
