HP reduce the price of the HP ENVY Sleekbook
It must be a sign of the times that we are seeing some interesting price reductions from the major manufacturers on their latest laptops. The latest offering is from HP who has reduced the cost of the cool looking ENVY Sleekbook 4t-1000, with 14 inch screen, Intel processors and graphics cards, by a $100, meaning that the starting price of the new ENVY is now $700! The HP ENVY Sleekbook is not a laptop to overlook for buyers who are in the market for a smart looking laptop with a choice of some impressive features across the board from operating system to processors and graphics cards.
Having said that we are going to be looking at the entry level machine, which has a 14 inch diagonal screen offering the HD BrightView LED-backlit Display with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolutions and there is a built in HP TrueVision HD web camera with integrated dual array digital microphone. It is running on the Microsoft Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system and will be powered by the 2nd generation Intel core i3-2377M Processor with 1.5 GHz and video coming from the Intel HD Graphics 3000 card.
There is a FREE upgrade to 4 GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 System Memory (1 Dimm) and a FREE upgrade to a 500 GB 5400 rpm hard disk drive (HDD) available at the moment. While networking has the normal 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN, Bluetooth and the WIDI too. Other features includes two fast speed USB 3.0 ports, a single standard speed USB 2.0 port, HDMI out, headphone-out, microphone-in and a digital media card reader. The laptop measures 13.38 inch (W) x 9.28 inch (D) x 0.78 inch (H) and it weighs in at handy 3.98 pounds and that is with the 4 cell lithium ion battery pack installed that HP say will be good for up to 8 hours and 15 minutes of power.
HP have priced at the ENVY Sleekbook 4t-1000 to from $700 that is $100 saving on the previous starting price.
