Great machine! 3GB ram 250GB hd: enough space to try XPSP3, Seven RTM and, best of all, Mandriva GNU/Linux 2009.1.
…great desktop experience and a silent machine for the long P2P download sessions. Using “on demand” performance profile, the fan is running at minimum speed and dual-core cpu at 800MHz provide enough power to surf the net and leave your 1 ton applications and documents opened without increasing clock…just in case of flash animations
XP installed with sata in IDE compatibility mode. Updated with HP drivers and switched to native sata, is ok, fast&furious!
Seven RTM is ok, seems as fast as XP, with updated look…both of them usable for gaming, thanks to ATI HD3430.
GNU/Linux by Mandriva 2009.1 works perfectly, with every device installed and configured automatically
