stiffed How to Get Discount Notebook Computers Without Getting Stiffed

Here’s a good tip for college students, for people who have to work for a living, for those with limited incomes: If you need a laptop computer, it’s not really all that hard to get good discount notebook computers at a low price without getting stiffed and handed a lemon for your hard earned money.

The trick is knowing where to look and knowing what you want.

Here is where you’re going to find the discounts: Refurbished laptops, wholesale laptops, “slightly used” laptops, and laptop sales.

Now, with all four of these categories, you’re going to want to be very careful. The first step to making sure you know you’re getting an actual deal is to have a good idea of what you want in your head. Do you need a gaming rig? One for multimedia? Or just a decent laptop to do your homework on at school?

Whatever you choose, make sure you list what you’ll need your laptop to come with to accomplish that, and save that list for a little later.

Now, look at what you can find on sale through the local stores, online electronics sales sites, auction sites, and so on. Look at what they have and do the research on it, and try to find the one closest to what you need.

Now, take that list you wrote down out of your pocket, and try to find a computer that is actually a bit weaker than your ideal computer.

See, the trick to buying a cheap laptop is to buy one that nobody wants… beause they don’t know how much life it still has left in it. With a couple hundred dollars worth of refurbishing, a five hundred dollar can start to perform like a two thousand dollar laptop.

Whatever you do, don’t get lured into buying a piece of junk just because it’s the cheapest thing out there.

Here is the main, primary, number one rule to getting a good deal: It’s only a good deal if it’s a good deal. If by “good deal” you mean “You only had to spend five hundred dollars on this piece of junk you don’t even use”, well, think about how nutty that sounds for a minute… only five hundred dollars? For a single male, five hundred dollars is a year’s worth of groceries!

So watch out for your soon-to-be dream laptop, settle for less, and upgrade.
