Retrospect is good, as it offers a lot of functionality that you normally can&#039;t get unless you pay the megabucks for enterprise level stuff.  Acronis TrueImage is also good.I personally prefer Retrospect because of encryption capabilities.  You want AES encryption, just incase someone steals the external drive. I read the whole post and its very informative and gives detailed info on how to backup your laptop.
