Over the past few weeks I’ve been working on a side project during the evenings from my home office.
I like working in the evenings because it’s nice and quiet. No noise, no phones, just a lot of good coding while relaxing in the comfort of my own space.
The best part about working from home is the view I have on nights like this evening:
Tonight was an amazing sunset as you can see from my photo.
Now if the tree blocking the middle of the bay could just go away, the view would be that much better.
To bad I don’t have a wood burning fireplace. Where’s George Washington when you need him to chop down a tree?
Ok, maybe not chop it down but relocated it so it won’t be blocking the view so much.

Well the view is nice, so I shouldn’t complain. You are correct though, it’s never enough.
It could be worse, I could be looking at a brick wall or something.

okay, I’m jealous! Nice view, Sean… but I see what you mean about the tree… though I do love trees.
The view from my office is not great.. the side yard and 50 feet over is my neighbor’s house… my partner has the better view from his room facing the backyard.
Oh well, I still love my cute little office and like you, I prefer to do most of my coding at night when it’s quiet. Tonight I’m tired so I think I’ll go play a game or something
