Hacking The Body Week #4

It’s that time again, my weekly update on my weight loss progress.

I’ve stuck to drinking a lot of water daily and only having one diet soda per day.

As of this post, I haven’t had a soda yet, so I might go a day without one. That would be some progress.

I’ve also noticed my pants are starting to become loose and I’ve needed to move up one notch in my belt buckle. Yay, signs of more weight loss.

Ok, now for the specific details of my morning weigh in… I weighed in this morning at 227.6 which is a 1.8 pound weight loss.

So far in 4 weeks I’ve lost a total of 4.4 pounds.

This makes me very excited. I love seeing progress and I’m well on my way to reaching my goal of 200 pounds.

Feel free to keep track of my progress on my Hacking The Body Project page.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support and words of encouragement.

  1. I think the key is in not eating dog treats. :) Good to hear that you are going strong.

  2. Congratulations! I’ve been doing something similar, although I call don’t call it a “Project” … I call it THE HART-Series hehe, naturally, named after me :D

Hey there HART. Thanks for your support.

Of course your project would be named after you… it only makes sense…

Looking at your project, uh, series, it looks like you’re doing the Weight Watchers point system.

Does that seem to help, counting points?

  5. Hi SeanRox. It is Weight Watchers and I am counting points. I eat everything and anything (and am taking pictures of my dinners each day). I think it will help me. I was on it before with my wife, lost weight and successfully reduced my cholestrol. Then, she reached her lifetime goal and stopped going, and I stopped going and counting. 8 months later I’m about 80% of my weight is back. I’m eating healthier than ever, but obviously have to work on the portions. Counting helps me with that.

Yes, I’ve heard good things about Weight Watchers.

Congratulations on your progress with becoming healthy.

Keep up the great work and I’ll be sure to check in on your series to watch your progress.
