Just imagine that you ask your attorney a very important question about what he or she is working on for you and they answer with the following:
You know, I really have mixed feelings about that. It’s kind of like when your Mother-In-Law drives off a cliff in your brand new car. Its really good, but at the same time it kinda sucks.
Due to attorney-client privilege, I can’t say who or what attorney firm said that but lets just say he’s a very highly paid Los Angeles attorney.

incredible how thoughtless that comment was…but it doesn’t surprise me
Keep in mind that not only did I post the attorney quote under my quote of the day category, I also posted it under fun and humor, so don’t take it to seriously.
Under normal circumstances, yes the quote would seem thoughtless and most attorneys are not fun people but this one is and the quote that was said was in good fun, not to be an arse.
Although I would expect many people to feel insulted or negatively about something this, but such a comment would actually make me smile. I think the attorney was trying to explain something, which I’m sure can often be a difficult topic, in a human way. Thanks.
