It seems in recent months a lot of my friends, family and co-workers have had some issues with Spyware, Adware and Viruses.
Since I always seem to be the “go-to” geek when things like this happen, I figured it would be a good subject for a post on one of the programs I use that can help save the day.
Yes Ad-Aware SE, Spybot and CCleaner can help get rid of a lot of these issues but in recent situations I’ve come across, they couldn’t get everything or didn’t even detect problems when the computers in question were showing signs of a really bad infection.
