Tons of people use Google's apps now, and if they had a phone perfectly suited for these applications, that would be awesome. Since having my iPhone, having Google Maps on the go has been very useful. I'm extremely interested in seeing what Google comes up with for a mobile device. To also answer that question of why Google would do this, aside from the buttloads of money they can make, who wouldn’t want Google products on the go.
