Here is a new ultrabook from the Taiwan based Gigabyte, they call it the U2442! However, by looking at the specs and choices available, this is a laptop that deserves a bit more than just having a number to identify it! Anyway, the U2442 is a solid machine and meets of the requirements as laid down by Intel to qualify as an ultrabook; it is light, thin and is powered by the 3rd generation of Intel Core processors. But there is more than meets the eye with the U2442 starting with the nice sized 14 inch screen in HD+ with LED back light display and a 1600 x 900 of pixel resolutions.
