Gift Ideas For Guys Who Love Gadgets

The problem with shopping for a techie is that they’ve probably already got all the cool stuff they really want. A top of the line gaming system, a super-powered laptop, the newest iPhone or Blackberry on the market, and so on.

So the trick is filling in the gaps. Getting them the stuff they might have missed. This could mean some little peripheral to add on to their laptop, or a new headset for their phone. Here are a few of the cooler gift ideas for the geek who has everything…

Motorola Mini H9

headset Gift Ideas For Guys Who Love Gadgets

The smallest Bluetooth headset available to consumers. It’s about the size of a nickel, works within thirty feet of the phone, and gives crystal clear sound quality. It’s in the fifty dollar range, so there’s no worry about breaking the bank on this gift.

Nintendo DS with Camera

Here’s a cool new gaming system hitting the market soon. It’s a Nintendo DS Lite, but it has a camera and can play MP3s. Cool, huh? You can take photos and use the system to edit those photos. You can even map them out in 3D and play around with them, stretching out people’s ears and so on. It’s currently selling for about $190 in Japan, and if you import it, it will play American DS games, but it will probably be coming out to the West pretty soon.

Personal Soundtrack Shirt

This product is only for the coolest geeks in the entire world. It is literally a T-shirt with a speaker built right into the front. It comes with built in sounds, but more importantly, you can load it with MP3s. If you want Iggy Pop to play every time you walk in a room, you got it. If you want to seduce your lady to Barry White at the drop of a hat, there you go. What’s more, it’s actually machine washable, as the sound system is connected by velcro.

And, a nice going away present…

The “Annoy-a-tron”. Don’t get this one for anyone you want to spend any time with in the near future. It produces a loud, high pitched beeping sound at random intervals, so you can throw it in a cupboard or something and have everyone wondering “Where the &%*$ is that &*%& noise coming from!?”

It makes a great going away (forever) present, or you can give it to your least favorite aunt’s practical joker boyfriend at Christmas.
