If you were in the market for top of the range and fully loaded laptop, the 17.3″ LIFEBOOK NH77/ED from Fujitsu, may not be the first machine to spring to mind for your shopping list, yet here is a laptop that offers high specs and comes from a well known brand.
Sure Fujitsu is not a top brand when it comes to laptops, but the company does a long history for quality and this matters when you are spending a lot of cash on a laptop. The latest offering from Fujitsu is the LIFEBOOK NH77/ED it is currently on sale on Japan, so the specs and details are little thin on the ground at the moment.
But from what can figure from the translated Fujitsu web page is that the LIFEBOOK NH77/ED will offer the buyer a 17.3 inch Fine full high definition, wide flat panel, LED back light display with a 1920 × 1080 of pixel resolutions and a built in 1.3 mega pixel web camera. It is powered by the high end Intel Core i7-2670QM processor with a clock speed ranging from 2.20 GHz to 3.10 GHz and with the graphics being provided by the Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics card.
There is a large 8 GB (4GB × 2) of DDR3 PC3-10600 Dual Channel memory and a massive 1 TB hard disk drive (HDD) for storage purposes. Connecting to the internet has been made easy with the LAN with support for 1000BASE-T and IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN.
Other features include the Blu-ray Disc drive, a fast USB 3.0 port, three standard style USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA/USB 2.0 combo connector and the very useful HDMI port for connecting to larger displays such as an HD television. The LIFEBOOK NH77/ED will be running Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating system, it weighs around 3.5 kilos with the battery installed that Fujitsu claim should be good for up to 4.4 hours of power.
