The Japanese based electronics firm Fujitsu has launched its latest 15.6 inch laptop the LIFEBOOK AH56/G, this is a high spec laptop with a reasonable starting price and therefore it sounds very interesting so far! Upon closer inspection, Fujitsu have not let us down, as the LIFEBOOK AH56/G has something for every user, such as the Intel i7 processor and a decent graphics option. It may not be the first choice for a gamer, but it is a good machine for students and business users.
The Fujitsu LIFEBOOK AH56/G has a Super Fine wide LCD type display at 15.6 inches with LED high brightness backlight and it has a 1366 × 768 of pixel resolutions. There is also a handy built in 3.0 mega pixel web camera. It is going to be powered by the very useful Intel Core i7-2670QM processor with 2.20 GHz to 3.10 GHz and video coming through the Intel high definition Graphics 3000 card. Internal memory is up to 4 GB of DDR3 PC3-10600 but it can support dual channel if required by the user. While storage comes in the form of a mechanical 750 GB hard disk drive (HDD).
Networking comes via the built in LAN (support 1000BASE-T), wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11b/g/n), but there is no Bluetooth feature available with this model. Other features on the Lifebook are the Blu-ray Disc drive, two fast connecting USB 3.0 ports, three standard USB 2.0 ports and there is an HDMI output too. This laptop weighs just 2.6 kilos with the battery installed that Fujitsu claim is good for around 2.3 hours of use when away from the nearest mains power socket.
Currently the Fujitsu LIFEBOOK AH56/G is on sale in Japan with a starting price of around $1,350, there is no word if or even when it will become available in other markets.
