Here is yet another new laptop from Dospara, its part of the Note range of computers called the GALLERIA QF675MX. It has a 15.6 inch laptop with Intel Core processing power as well as graphics provided by Intel and Nvidia, so this is not an entry level machine by anyone’s standards. Where this laptop fits in is difficult to say, but the price would be attractive to business, home and even students who are requiring more from a laptop than the entry level machines have on offer.
So what does the GALLERIA QF675MX have to offer the consumer? There is a decent sized 15.6 inch screen with Non-gloss widescreen LCD display in full HD offering a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolutions. It will be running the latest Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit operating system and is powered by the Intel Core i7 3630QM mobile processor with 2.40 GHz to 3.40 GHz with Turbo Boost with up to 6 MB L3 cache, with support from the Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and the Mobile Intel HM77 Express Chipset. The video and graphics come from the NVIDIA GeForce GTX675MX with 2GB and the Intel HD Graphics card with the switching being controlled by the NVIDIA Optimus Technology.
There is 8 GB of PC3-12800 DDR3 SO-DIMM up to 32 GB Max and there is the 500 GB 2.5 inches, connected SATA hard disk drive (HDD) for storage purposes. Networking is easy with the 10 BASE-T, 100 BASE-TX, 1000 BASE-T LAN Wired LAN, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS and the IEEE 802.11 b / g / n Wireless LAN. Other features include the built in 3.0 mega pixel web camera, a single standard style USB 2.0 port, three super fast connecting USB 3.0 ports and the HDMI & D-sub15 Video output. The GALLERIA QF675MX measures up at 55.6 mm (H) × 267.7 mm (D) x 395.4 mm (W) and weighs in at a fairly heavy 3.3 kilos with the Lithium-ion battery pack installed that Dospara say will be offering approximately 4.9 hours of power.
Dospara have put a starting price of around $1,250 on this laptop.
