This is the all new Note Critea VF17H2 from the Japanese based manufacturer Dos Para; it is a great looking laptop with a nice sized 17.3 inch screen, powered by Intel Core processors, Nividia graphics and an HM76 chipset all ready to take the user to the limit and beyond. The only downside for this laptop is probably the brand name, Dos Para is big in the Far East, but it is not so popular outside of this region. This is actually a bit of shame because the Note Critea VF17H2 is a real good machine with a decent price tag of around $900.
The Note Critea VF17H2 has a 17.3 inch screen with a wide LCD glossy with a full HD Display with a 1920 x 1080 of pixel resolutions and there is a built in 1.3 million pixel web camera. This laptop is running the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and powered by the Intel Core i7-3630QM mobile quad-core processor 2.40 GHz to 3.40 GHz with Turbo Boost 6 MB L3 cache with support from Intel Hyper Threading Technology. There is support from the Mobile Intel HM76 Express Chipset and video comes via the NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 1 GB + Intel HD Graphics with switching by NVIDIA Optimus Technology.
This laptop has 8 GB of PC3-12800 DDR3 SO-DIMM and there is 500 GB 2.5 inch connected SATA 3.0 Gb 5400 rpm hard disk drive (HDD) available. For networking, there is the 10 BASE-T, 100 BASE-TX, 1000 BASE-T Wired LAN, Bluetooth 4.0 + HS and an IEEE 802.11 b / g / n Wireless LAN. Other features include the two standard style USB 2.0 ports, two super fast connecting USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and D-Sub 15 video output and the always handy Multi-Card Reader. This laptop measure up at 34.7 mm (H) × 278 mm (D) x 419 mm (W) and weighs in at a heavy 3.0 kilos even with the Lithium-ion battery installed that Dos Para say should be good for up to 3.7 hours of power.
Dos Para has priced the Note Critea VF17H2 to from around $900, but this can quickly increase with the upgrades and options available.
