The Los Angeles based computer maker Cyberpower are well known for bringing out some real nice looking laptops and the Zeus M ultrabook is no exception to this rule. The Zeus M is smart looking machine that offers the user a 14.1 inch display, Intel Core i5 processors, HD Graphics 4000 and HM77 Express Chipset; it is light at under four pounds and thin too at just .7 of an inch at the thinnest point.
The Zeus M Ultrabook has a 14.1 inch screen with the LED Back lit Display, with a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolutions and a built in 1.3 mega pixel web camera. It will be running on the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, powered by the Intel Core i5-3317U Ivy Bridge Dual Core Processor with integrated on MB 17W. There is support for the Mobile Intel HM77 Chipset and video will be coming from the Intel HD 4000 UMA graphics card.
There is a choice of memory with up to 8 GB of DDR3 1333/1600 DRAM, the same for storage with up to 750 GB of 2.5″ (7mm) SATA 5400/7200 RPM hard disk drive (HDD) and there is the option for a m-SATA Minicard solid state drive (SSD) too. Networking has the use of 10 / 100 / 1000 Ethernet LAN, 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN and the handy Bluetooth 3.0 connection. While other features include three USB ports, Audio jack Headphone-out (SPDIF), Mic-in, RJ45, DC in and the HDMI out. The Zeus measures up at 344 mm (W) x 235 mm (D) x 17.9 mm (H) and weighs in at just 1.8 kilos and that is with the Polymere Li-Ion 8 cell Battery already installed.
Cyberpower has priced the Zeus M Ultrabook to start from $700 but the final price could end up being as high as $1900 should the buyer choose to go for the high end options.
