Well, actually, the Muppet character that devours the computer in this video is not the real Cookie Monster but a character that predates the cookie monster, that later evolved into cookie monster. Did that make your head spin? 
Apparently Jim Henson and Frank Oz created the skit for an IBM training video and later performed a version on the Ed Sullivan Show.
